About Mount Holly
Mount Holly is an idyllic community tucked between the Green Mountain National Forest and the Okemo State Forest. This quiet town is overflowing with natural beauty, and right in the center sits the village of Belmont, which is right on Star Lake, a beautiful place to relax on the beach, fish and skate during the winter. Lake Ninevah is also a popular destination for kayaking and wildlife observation. Just under 1,300 people live in this peaceful, serene community, but it’s far from what you’d call a ‘sleepy’ town. Mount Holly may have a rural setting, but it’s close enough to all the amenities you need to live comfortably here. The town is closer to VT-7 than it is to I-91, but getting to neighboring towns is typically easy.
